"Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."
          --The Bible
          Numbers 31:17-18

The most natural instinct of being a mother or father is a willingness and strength to protect the young and defenseless. To have a family means to look after people who, many years ago, were just like yourself. Every culture has its own preferred, social organization, but you cannot extinguish the passion of good parents. You cannot destroy their hope to give wisdom or their desire to give conscience. But somehow, a single religion became dominant in our western world. Its religious text, from beginning to end, has widely advocating the slaughter, killing, and murder of children. These stories are often mixed in with barbaric traditions, ancient wars, and cannibalism. Like the killing of children, all of these atrocities are advocated by a major, religious text. It is shared by Christianity, Judaism, and Islam: the Bible.

"And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them."
          --The Bible
          Jeremiah 19:9

If anyone here were to quote the Bible, to a Christian, a Muslim, or a Jew, they'd call you a vicious barbarian. They'd say you're apologizing for and defending killing, rape, and wars -- they'd say that everything you teach, from eating our children to cutting their throats -- was an affront to god. But, then, if you reveal your source to them, they are astonished. When they hear the words of the Bible, without knowing that it is the Bible, the are revolted. They are sickened and disgusted beyond all belief. And by informing them that you're actually quoting their scripture, they have no response.

"Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished."
          --The Bible
          Isaiah 13:16

These religious followers, once enlightened, withdraw and silence themselves. It does shake their faith, but they've changed. They went from being the greatest defender of belief in god, and now, they admit, "I do not understand," "I have no answers," "I don't know." In the day time, they will reject cruelty and violence; and at night, they will pray upon a book that demands it. The hypocrite: outside of religious belief, the word has very little application. There are few things, except those strongly induced in youth, that persist. In fact, they persist even the religionist has visions of the children, being whipped, canned, beaten, and finally, tied up, sexually violated, and then executed.

"Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers..."
          --The Bible
          Isaiah 14:21

Every word of it was commanded by the one and only Lord. They know it, they feel it, they accept it.... but in believing in a rapist and murderer of a god, the religious follower loses part of themselves. They lose the part of themselves that could feel for children. Instead of looking upon the youth as their own individuals, they see them as trinkets and objects. They are things placed here by god, that they can obey and submit, of if they resist, to burn them alive. In believing every word of this religion, one loses a sense of humanity. For every bit of kindness or mercy they deliver upon the young, the ultimate source of love demands that rape and murder fit into these categories. And if you cannot believe that, then you cannot believe the Bible -- then you cannot be a Christian, a Jew, or a Muslim. In which case, you will find yourself being executed with the children. (Deuteronomy 12:30)

"The LORD said to Moses, 'Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you, with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.' So they struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army, leaving them no survivors. And they took possession of his land."
          --The Bible
          Numbers 21:34-35

And what can a child believe? What liberty or freedom do they really have? From villages in India to small hamlets in France, the youth pick up whatever is given to them. They have the form of someone who must learn, adapt, and evolve in trying to understand and live in society. They have no rights to self-defense, or to protect themselves, or to choose their faith. If they were ever to engage in these rights, even today, they'd be pushed, kicked, stomped, and then arrested by a Truant Officer. But it is this child, according to the will of god, that must be responsible. It is this child that shall be made into a sex-slave, as commanded by Moses in chapter 31 of numbers. It is this child that shall be executed and buried in a nameless grave. The most weak and innocent part of society is the first part that god wants to torture and sacrifice. To disagree with this statement is to renounce the Bible as the unmistakable word of God.

"Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle."
          --The Bible
          Jeremiah 18:21

Yet it is everywhere. Religion has saturated and filled our culture at every end. While the dominant faith may be Christianity here, Judaism there, and Islam somewhere else, it is certain that these faiths are exclusively based on violent scriptures. You can hear everything you want about god, about how to join his only church or temple or mosque, and then about how you can give money. No pastor or preacher or rabbi or imam every misses any of these points. They are the focal point of all "development of religious consciousness." And those who accept and believe are doing so out of social pressure and the need for belonging. If the churches and religious groups openly said "slaughter children, as the lord commandeth," then they would certainly drive away any potential followers.

"From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. 'Go on up, you baldhead!' they said. 'Go on up, you baldhead!' He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths."
          --The Bible
          2 Kings 2:23-24

"In god we trust" is even on our coins in the United States! A nation that has been historically known for its separation of church and state is willing to put prayers on its money. Prayers, written by followers of god -- but not the words of god. And certainly not where he commands mass murder and sexual exploitation. Our politicians, candidates, schools, universities, museums, and even in our courthouses -- you must accept faith in god. You can protest, all that you'd like about your freedom of expression. You may be imprisoned for contempt, a nice little trick of the law that allows a judge to imprison anyone anywhere for anything. Of you may be given detention, if you don't carry through a religious and patriotic sermon every morning called "the Pledge of Allegiance."

"In one day Pekah son of Remaliah killed a hundred and twenty thousand soldiers in Judah—because Judah had forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers. Zicri, an Ephraimite warrior, killed Maaseiah the king's son, Azrikam the officer in charge of the palace, and Elkanah, second to the king. The Israelites took captive from their kinsmen two hundred thousand wives, sons and daughters. They also took a great deal of plunder, which they carried back to Samaria."
          --The Bible
          2 Chronicles 28:6-8

Why can't I write my own pledge, and read it over the school intercom? Why can't I write my own sermon, and deliver it to a group of suspects and victims in court? Because the first thing I would say is, "As the most holiest of all forces in the universe commands us, we must find more children to rape, to kill, and to cannibalize!" It is exactly as the Holy Word of God tells us to do. But Christians today are far too humane to be real Christians. They are far too sympathetic and feeling to actually advocate the murder of children, like their forefathers. In effect, very few or almost none are really Christians, Jews, or Muslims.

"And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor."
          --The Bible
          Joshua 1: 7:24-25

Yes, they are too good to follow the words of god, when he orders the slaughter of the innocent, when he demands the abuse and torture of those who just started to feel. But the religious followers don't continue their logic -- if they did, they'd find themselves Atheists. No, they pardon one small phrase in the scriptures, or ignore it altogether, and then become the new great prophets and missionaries. There are Christians who fight gay marriage, because of similarly barbaric verses in the Bible. (Leviticus 18:22) There are Muslims who still believe in using violence and physical abuse "to control their wives." (Qur'an 4:34) And there are Jews who still believe in inhuman, vicious slaughtering techniques for animals, all of which maximize the pain of the creature to unbelievable standards. (the Shechitah Ritual)

"And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city."
          --The Bible
          Deuteronomy 3:6

Religion was born from human ignorance, but it thrives on a few people being able to exploit the misery of others. The Muslim, the Christian, and the Jew are all ready to lay down the principles of morality from their religious texts. They are all commanded to murder children, but they have too much heart to accept this. However, it doesn't stop them from relying on the same text that they have already rejected. Men quote god where they can beat and torture women, capitalists quote god when their property is threatened by "the mob," and governments will even quote it when they need to justify a war. But nobody who claims to believe in god has the ability to admit that the object their worship is a child rapist and murderer. The evilness of certain parts of their religion has been confirmed -- but they remain unshaken in the other ideas of that are just as vicious and cruel.

"And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death."
          --The Bible
          Numbers 21:17

Christian organizations, always ready to quote the Bible anywhere they can, seem to skip over these phrases. They've even rewritten the entire phrases out of the Bible! The King James Version, as well as the Gideon's Bible, rename the word "rape" to "lay with." This becomes confusing when the Bible is actually distinguishing between rape and sex -- but those who believe in the faith aren't dedicated to the truth. If they were, they'd have no problem preaching their message on a banner that say, "For all children who curse their parents, burn them! Burn them alive!" But, the religion, as it is written and as it was born, is inhuman. It is so inhumane, that even its followers cannot read you their text, without tears and shame.

"Under their teachings men waste and misdirect their energies, abandon the ends that can be accomplished, dedicate their lives to the impossible, worship the unknown, pray to the inconceivable, and become the trembling slaves of a monstrous myth born of ignorance and fashioned by the trembling hands of fear."
          --Robert Green Ingersoll, 1877
